Think along in the development of our nuts and peanut butter

You will join the international R&D category team for Nuts & Peanut Butter, working closely with local R&D teams across Europe, as well as central and local marketing teams. You will be part of an enthusiastic team in which everyone makes optimal use of their strengths. Thanks to our short lines of communication, good ideas quickly turn into concrete results — which is exactly what makes working with us unique.

Your challenge as Product Developer

Our Product Developers are in the driver’s seat. We challenge you to actively contribute to the development of our nut and peanut butter products. In our own Pilot Plant, you test new ideas and guide the transition from concept to production. You are analytical, structured, and able to make decisions that move projects forward. In addition to product development, you work on process optimisation and standardisation, ensuring best practices are shared across our various nut factories in Europe. The core of your role lies in international projects involving multiple countries and disciplines. Your main contacts are local R&D colleagues and marketing teams, as well as suppliers and factories. Intersnack has six nut factories with which you will collaborate intensively.

Your ingredients

You have a passion for food, a strong feel for flavour and process, and the ability to turn ideas into results. You are proactive, skilled at connecting people, and capable of managing multiple projects at once. From start to finish, you know exactly what is needed to bring a product to life. You also bring:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology or a comparable field;

• 3–5 years of international work experience in the food industry;

• Experience in snacks, bakery, chocolate or confectionery (preferred);

• Strong project management skills, including risk management, planning and stakeholder management;

• Proven experience with product implementation and process improvement;

• Excellent command of English; knowledge of Dutch and/or German is an advantage;

• Willingness to travel (approx. 30%);

• A curious, open mindset — you welcome feedback and new insights.
